Employment Law Change: What's Coming and When
Appraisd’s guide to the Employee Rights Bill

Employment law reform has been at the top of Labour’s priorities since taking office in July 2024. Now, with the Employment Rights Bill approaching parliamentary sign-off, the statute book is set to be updated by Autumn 2025.
But not everything will land at once. Some reforms will take effect immediately, others will be phased in over time, and a number of proposals remain subject to consultation and may be dropped altogether.
To help you navigate the changes and what they mean for probation and performance management, the Appraisd team has created a guide to help HR leaders prepare confidently for what’s ahead.
